Stephanie Waite, MSLOC, BS Ed, BCC
I’m so happy you’re here. Either you’ve been sent our way by word of mouth, experienced 7 AIR in action, or stumbled upon us because you were searching for the best when it comes to “unlocking and activating your people.” All of those led you here, and we’re looking forward to working with you.
Stephanie Waite(Chief Executive Officer and Founder of 7 AIR) brings her vast experiences & success in strategy, change, leadership development and design to her highly customized work.
As a people consultant and change strategist, Stephanie has worked internally and externally as a thought partner, Board Certified Executive Coach (BCC), and trusted advisor for senior leaders, C-Suite executives and their leadership teams in diverse industries across various sizes of organizations (from mature start-ups of 50+ to non-profits to large Fortune companies and their Boards of Directors).
Her work is notably grounded in her Specialization in Positive Psychology from University of Pennsylvania, Master of Science in Learning & Organizational Change (MSLOC) from Northwestern University, classical rigorous training B.S. in Science Education from University of Wisconsin-Madison (Nationally Ranked #1 School of Education), and certifications that span across assessments & tools. She applies all of the learning to pragmatic, directly applied actions that focus on building the most flourishing cultures & leadership teams to their desired state (not fixing or going back to change). As a result, she’s been called the, “Executive Whisperer,” and “Executive Jack-knife,” as she has been the go-to and “secret weapon” every leader needs in their role.
With her art + science background, she is masterful at identifying and breaking down highly complex ideas and challenges into simple, understandable blocks and items to tackle. And, with that, then translating the solutions into turnkey, highly adoptable and repeatable processes- this “scientific process” has become her forté - as she prides herself on the seamless transition, success and sustainability of everything she designs. Uniqueness is one of her core values, and she translates that by taking a highly customized approach when working with clients, and organizations.
An educator-at-heart, Stephanie serves as an Instructor & Lecturer for Northwestern University, School of Education and Social Policy’s Master of Science in Learning & Organizational Change (MSLOC) program (Designing Organizational Effectiveness Certificate, DOEC, 2017 - 2025), and previously served as a STEM educator and teacher mentor early in her career.
She was invited to travel internationally to develop multi-national curricula with a global organization on science & environmental programs across China & Inner Mongolia working with three (3) translators (Mandarin, Russian & Mongolian). A passion of hers: Exploring education systems across the world with the most culturally fascinating - the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. It showcases her unique ability to communicate with & inspire to transform anyone at any level.
Stephanie is one of the only executive coaches and organizational strategists in the world whose biomimicry practice is grounded in biology, chemistry, physics, Earth science & primary Field Science. Her love for science, biomimicry, and biomimetic leadership inspire her to solve organization's toughest challenges by looking to nature.
A key highlight in her Executive Leadership career, Stephanie served as the President, Board of Directors (2019-2021) of the world's largest chapter of the Association for Change Management Professionals (ACMP Midwest), successfully leading the Board and its membership through enormous global & socio-cultural shifts. Based on her track record through her experience in leadership at ACMP, she was selected to serve on the Ethics Review Committee for ACMP Global (2024 - present).
Another key highlight included her publication in AONL, Nurse Leader for her work on increasing engagement levels across staff level through a leadership development program at the leader level, successfully proving you can use leadership development as a tool to directly affect engagement scores at the staff level. This won her the Success Story Award from Press Ganey.
Stephanie shares her insights globally & nationwide, and is recognized for her transformational work in leadership & executive development, strategy, culture and engagement, as a sought-after speaker and published author.
